Our philosophy
A groom should feel like being cared for, because it is.
The Pampered Pups began with three shelties and one conviction: a dog can love being groomed, if the groomer is willing to do everything on the dog’s terms. Hundreds of hours of study, professional-grade equipment, and a playlist of spa music later — that conviction is the whole business.
Studied, not improvised
Every technique here was researched before it was ever tried on a dog — coat-specific brushing methods, correct dryer temperatures, the right shampoo for the right skin. Nothing is guesswork.
The right tool for every coat
A double coat is not a curly coat is not a silky coat. The studio is stocked with professional equipment so each dog is groomed with what their coat actually needs — never a one-size-fits-all pass.
Comfort before schedule
Spa music plays. Breaks happen whenever a dog wants one. If a nervous pup needs ten extra minutes to settle in, they get twenty. No appointment here has ever been rushed to stay on time.

Each step takes as long as your dog needs it to. That is the point.

Arrival & settling in
The music is already on. Your dog explores the studio, has a sniff and a treat, and we say hello properly before a single tool comes out.

Coat & skin assessment
A slow hands-on check of coat condition, matting, skin, ears, and paws — so the groom is planned around this dog, on this day.

The warm bath
Water tested on the wrist, shampoo chosen for their coat and skin, massaged in by hand. Rinsed until the water runs perfectly clear.

The gentle dry
Low, warm airflow at a distance your dog is happy with, worked section by section with a brush — never blasted, never hot.

Finishing touches
Trimming, tidying, nails, and a final all-over brush-out. Then a treat, a fuss, and a very good-looking dog goes home.

Greets every guest at the door and personally verifies that all treats meet studio standards. Coat famously photogenic.
Bentley
Tricolor · Director of Relaxation
Has never once objected to a warm bath. Considers the spa playlist his personal soundtrack and naps accordingly.
Mac
Sable · Chief Coat Inspector
The most thoroughly brushed dog in the county, and proud of it. Supervises every de-shedding treatment from a respectful distance.
